This figure represents a 6.5% increase compared to the 3.666 million tons shipped during the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of revenue, the growth is 2.8%, with a total of $7.578 billion for the first nine months of 2023, compared to $7.373 billion in the same period of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>For the month of September alone,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/datamarnews.com\/noticias\/brazilian-poultry-sales-to-arabs-expected-to-grow-in-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>chicken<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0meat industry exports reached 397.1 thousand tons, a 0.7% decrease from the same period last year when 400 thousand tons were exported. Other noteworthy destinations include the United Arab Emirates with 35.2 thousand tons (+19.8%), South Africa with 20.6 thousand tons (+9.5%), South Korea with 19.4 thousand tons (+30.7%), and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/datamarnews.com\/noticias\/trade-quarrel-between-mexico-us-could-benefit-brazilian-sugar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mexico<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0with 15.2 thousand tons (+38.5%).<\/p>\n<p>In terms of regional distribution, Paran\u00e1 continues to be the leading exporter of chicken in Brazil. In September, the state exported 163.4 thousand tons, representing an 8.1% increase compared to the same period in 2022.
